In 1663 Otto von Guericke the mayor of the German city of Magdeburg discovered in a nearby cave the remains of a mythical creature.
Half unicorn and half mermaid, Otto named the creature Magdeburg Unicorn in honor of his beloved city.

But when reassembling the bones of the mythic creature a lightning struck the unicorns horn and crystalized it. The horn began to glow and the beast took on living form right in front of their eyes. The half unicorn half mermaid began to speak telepathically to Otto and he wrote down later what he could recall it said:
- Magdeburg Unicorn:
"Thou shall bring forth a new era of heavy music thus creating a counter-culture that can counteract the modern mainstream music slop. Thou shall call it "metal" and play it as loudly as thou can by using instruments powered by electricity. Also if someone could form a music group in my name that would be cool"
